Newlyweds Alessandro and Stefania Albini join Sydney FC superstar Alessandro Del Piero after training.
ALESSANDRO Del Piero was surprised by two of his biggest fans when he arrived at Sydney FC training on Tuesday morning.
Stefania and Alessandro Albini travelled from Italy to Sydney and showed up at the club’s Macquarie University training ground wearing their wedding outfits and ready to pose for a photo for their wedding album.
“We are big fans of Alessandro Del Piero, we follow him everywhere,” Stefania said.
“Our wedding was very special. All the tables had the stems of Juventus and our table had pictured of Alessandro Del Piero. It was only white and black.
“We are supporters of Sydney FC as well and Alessandro (Stefania’s husband) is wearing the Sky Blue tie.”
The couple, who are Sydney FC members, were delighted when Del Piero walked over to them and happily posed for the photo.
“He was surprised and shocked to see us,” Stefania said.
“But no I don’t think it’s strange.”
