THIS is the moment a luxury sports car goes so fast it literally bursts into flames.
At a recent speed test in Russia, mechanics strapped two turbos to a Lamborghini Gallardo.
As the car rocketed down the road it hit a land speed of 400km/h, shy of the fastest time for a street legal car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, but still super fast.
The burnt orange coloured Lamborghini had 2,000-hp under the hood.
But as the car hit top speed and crossed the start line it suddenly exploded into flames before limping to a stop further down the track.
The driver escaped unhurt but the car will need a respray.
